Conclusion

When I started this research, I had the wrong idea to focus on only the issue of lack of rights undocumented women face in the United States, but as I read more and learned more about their experiences I realized that it was impossible to focus in only that when there are clearly more issues surrounding their experience. I could answer my initial question and I ended up answering many more questions that I had while I was researching. 

I am satisfied with my work, however, I still feel like this is just the tip of the iceberg and that the situations of these women need much more attention and to be looked at more deeply than I did. I would have liked to manage my time to research even more than what I did for this blog, I would have read more testimonies and watched more videos since I focused my research mainly with articles and written media rather than anything else. 

I still think that the main issue above everything is the misogyny rooted in our society, the sole perpetrator of all the wrongs women have to endure in every aspect of their lives no matter what. I would like to keep exploring the problem with the patriarchy and the way it affects not only women but men as well.
